The 3rd edition of the  MIPCOM Diversify TV Awards were again held at the Carlton Hotel, Cannes on October 14th 2019. They were hosted by Bazeli Mbo.

The 2019 awards aimed to reward programming that provides a fair and accurate representation of BAME, LGBTQ+ and disabled communities, stand out for originality and excellence in terms of storytelling, casting and production values, challenge stereotypes, and show a positive impact.

Episodes were required to have aired between 1 September 2018 and 21 July 2019 on a linear and/or non-linear platform (first broadcast of any season).

The winning programmes were chosen by charitable organisations that campaign for equality and inclusion, including GADIM, GLAAD, ILGA-Europe, Minority Rights, Race Equality Foundation, SCOPE, Show Racism the Red Card, and Sporting Equals
